JOB = Journey of Broke!! No one ever really gets wealthy working for someone else. There may be some that are very comfortable – yes – wealthy – no! In my opinion, and I’ve done this myself, if you are going to work it might as well be on your own terms. If you choose to partner up with others (which I highly suggest) you make deals related to how much commission you draw on sales.

You Fired Your JOB
During our first strategy session I can tell whether you are the job seeker or the budding solo-preneur. Solo means alone! You can’t go it alone. Because you have to make changes in your current habits to make room for your dreams. If you could make those changes on your own you would already be an Entrepreneur. You must have someone to help you through the maze of all the choices of creating your business. Someone to hold you accountable for change. Someone who has been there and knows how to speed up the process. The first step is finding out what really would make you want to jump out of bed in the morning, have you up at 2:00 am working on a project, taking phone calls 24/7 and in your spare time working on the back office issues (web site maintenance, social media, marketing, accounting, human resources if you choose to have more than you in the business, taxes, fires to put out……) This list can go on and on.
Here are some of the reasons that are holding you back from following your dreams. Check off how many you say to yourself:
- It’s too hard.
- It’s too expensive, have to have money to make money.
- Too risky.
- Don’t know how to sell.
- Don’t know anything about marketing, social media or direct mail.
- Had a business before and it failed.
- I have bills to pay and obligations I can’t just “Fire My Job”
- and, my favorite — Don’t know how to get started! You’re in luck this is My specialty!!
I admit, being an Entrepreneur is not for everyone. I interviewed Barbara Corcoran, star of Shark Tank and Real Estate Moguel, this is what she said about Entrepreneurship; “Entrepreneur’s jump off and grow wings on the way down, they don’t plan until later….then they hire the MBA”. Believe me I know how scary it is! And, I really didn’t have anyone to ask little picky questions of – those answers would mean all the difference believe me.
